Clyde Gene Anderson

Clyde Gene Anderson, 59, of Abingdon, Va., passed away from a heart attack on Monday evening, January 21, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Anderson; mother, Ruby Anderson and one brother, William Anderson.

Clyde leaves behind his love of his life, daughter, Amanda Anderson Gobble and Pam Gobble; companion, Esther Denton; two grandchildren, Jaylah Kayden Anderson and Lundynn Raine Booher; two brothers, Larry Anderson and Roger Anderson and Jackie of Abingdon; three sisters, Lucille Hoss, Elizabeth Roark and Junior, Jane Bowers and Jackie; sister-in-law, Brenda Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Black Hollow Rd., Abingdon, Va., with Rev. Paul Price and Pastor Elizabeth Carol Puckett officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.
