Clifford Chapman, age 60, passed away on Thursday night, March 1, 2018, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Chapman was born May 22, 1957, to Charles and Virginia Chapman. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend time fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially playing Santa Clause for the Glade Spring Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Chapman; and one infant daughter.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Ann Chapman; mother, Virginia Chapman Morefield; two sons, Allen Chapman and Jonathan Chapman and wife, Mary; daughter, Dawn Creasy; two brothers, Larry Chapman and wife, Irene and Charles Chapman and wife, Lynn; two sisters, Edith Chapman Orr and husband, Dale and Christine “Chris” Chapman Blevins and husband, Bill; four grandchildren, Jessie, Ashley, and Joey Chapman, and Aaron Creasy; two great grandchildren, also, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, at the Glade Spring Fire Department, 318 East Glade Street, Glade Spring, VA 24340, with Pastor Robert Blankenship officiating.
