Christine Poe Hudler, 75, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at her home.
Christine enjoyed sewing and word search puzzles. She loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren. She had attended Jackson Memorial Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Poe and Rissie Poe; husband of 47 years, Jack Hudler; five brothers, Ray, Rob, Barney, Earl and David; two sisters, Ennis and Evelyn.
Survivors include one daughter, Melinda Goodson and husband, Curtis; one granddaughter, Cassidy Canter and husband, Dave; two great grandchildren, Braylee and Paisley; two sisters, Pauline Bowman and Shirley O’Hara; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Ballad Health Hospice and nurses, Sandy and Freida for the care shown to Christine.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., in the chapel with Pastor Gary Harless officiating. Interment will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
