Charles Curtis Surber, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Abingdon Health and Rehab.
He was born in Abingdon, VA on April 14, 1944 to the late Clayton Surber and Mary Gay Surber Mee.
Mr. Surber was a jack of all trades from carpentry, auto work and diesel mechanics. He enjoyed spending time in his garden, collecting guns, and had a love for the outdoors. He was also an Air Force veteran.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Delp, Barbara Authenreath, and Linda Hicklin.
Survivors include his dedicated spouse, Sadie Surber; five children, Tony Surber and wife Gina, Tania Roland and husband Jason, Jamie Surber and wife Jennifer, Molly Surber, and Matthew Surber; eight grandchildren, Grayson, Cade, Damian, Arion, and Alex Surber, Sydney, Ryan and Aubrey Greene; one great grandchild, Anastasia; also, many nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Surber will be held privately.
