Charles “Charlie” Cleatus Spence, II, 49, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
Charlie spent over 30 years working with his father at Spence Home Inspection and Radon, LLC. He was a perfectionist and it showed through his beautiful artistic tile and detailed carpentry work. Charlie had many talents of which were surrounded by music. He was a gifted song writer and wonderful singer and was often called a “one-man band” when he played his guitar, drum and harmonica.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Drema Spence; and one niece, Lauren.
Survivors include two sisters, Gina Brown and husband, Mark and Kathryn Spence; one niece, Christina Lambert; great nephew, Zachary Lambert; the love of his life, Kay Cassell; one daughter, Tiffany Peters; and his “canine son” Stevie Ray.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Frost Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating.
