Abingdon, VA
Bonnie Kate Woods, of Abingdon, Va., went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She has left behind a large family of children, Kevin Woods and wife, Carolyn; Kayle Woods; Amy Davenport and husband, Tony; Travis Woods and wife, Angel; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and special friend, George Griffith. She is fiercely loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., to 1 p.m., Sunday, October 24, 2021, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., in the chapel with Dwight Salyer and Carroll Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Poor Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her family.
The family wants to send out their deep felt gratitude to the nursing staff at JMH for the great care shown during this time.
