Billy "Hootie" Wayne Sullivan, 66, passed away July 01, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Sullivan was born December 26, 1956 to the late Howard and Laura Sullivan. He worked for KVAT for over forty years where he retired. After retirement he worked at The Bike Station, which he enjoyed thoroughly, making new friends and meeting new people every day. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
Survivors include his loving wife, Anna Sullivan; step-son, Brent Barrett and wife Gwen; two step-daughters, Leslie Honeycutt and husband Trey and Erica Norwood and husband Glenn; brother, James Sullivan and wife Sandy; six step grandchildren; Rylann Norwood, Natalie Norwood, Isabelle Barrett, Analeigh Honeycutt, Eli Honeycutt, Wyatt Honeycutt; niece, Kaylen Sullivan; nephew, Logan Sullivan; also, special friends Steve Mann and wife Beth.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Carvosso United Methodist Church, 19429 Rustic Ln., Abingdon, VA. A service will take place following the visitation at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Bill Breeding officiating.
