Billie Jo Little, 87, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, Tn.
Ms. Little was born October 7, 1931 to the late Walker and Erma Hash Cox of Washington, County Va. and lived in Abingdon most of her life. She graduated from William King High School and married her sweetheart. She retired from Kroger and was a member of Abingdon Bible Church.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Junior Little; brother, James B. Cox; grandson, Jason Cannon; and great grandson James Bailey Snapp. Survivors include, two daughters, Teressa M. Edwards and husband Larry of Abingdon, Va. and Kathy E. Davis of Kingsport, Tn.; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 PM until 3:45 PM Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow visitation at 4 PM with Rev. Paul Bufford officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
The family would like to extend thanks and love to Paula, Sandy and Robin. Honorary pallbearers will be everyone in her Sunday School Class and Bruce Hicks.
