Betty Ann Gobble Orfield, 77, passed away April 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Orfield was born March 26, 1946 to the late Frank and Anna Lou Harmon Gobble in Washington, County, VA. She loved to go camping and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Including her parents she is preceded in death by, her husband, Hyskel George Orfield; two brothers, Verlin Gobble and Melvin Gobble; one sister, Lola Ritter.
Survivors include, daughter, Annette Orfield; son, Tommy Orfield and wife Kathren; four brothers; Clifford Gobble, Clyde “James” Gobble, Ernest “Ernie” Gobble and wife Darlene, and Jack Gobble and wife Patty; three sisters, Julia Mitchell and husband Dale, Nancy Baldwin, and Marie Fields and husband Eddie; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; also, many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Jason Nunley officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be, LeRoy Strickland, Alex Roark, Jimmy Johnson, Matthew Nickels, Eddie Fields, and Jason Fields.
