Alice Marie Osborne



June 15, 1964 – October 15, 2024


Alice Marie Osborne, age 60, of Glade Spring, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Paul and Helen Widener.

Alice dedicated her life to her family and serving her Heavenly Father, bringing joy and care to those around her.


She is survived by her cherished children, one daughter Madison Osborne and husband Ethan Brummitt, and one son Jordan Osborne with significant other Marissa Meister; two brothers, Willie Widener and wife Tracy; Dennis Widener and wife Patty; and her sister-in-law Debbie Blevins.


Alice was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Jaxon, Jetson, Bailey, Ava, and Eliza. She also leaves behind her best friend Cookie Patterson and husband Andy, along with several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.


Alice’s warm spirit, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.


Prior to services family and friends are welcomed to gather at the home of Dennis Widener 31288 Old Stage Rd, Glade Spring, Virginia 24340.


A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home. Service will follow at Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Lundy, Pastor Robert Blevins, and Pastor Billy Hawkins officiating. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Old Glade Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.


Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Brummitt, Dustin Garland, Colby Amos, Jason Widener, Brian Widener, Willie Boardwine, Paul Widener, and Jordan Osborne.


Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Widener, Willie Widener, Jaxon Osborne, Jetson Osborne, Andy Patterson, and Jason Lester.

Family and friends of Alice,

I remember her from high school, and I was so sorry to hear about her passing. She was a very nice and kind lady, and you are in my prayers for God’s comfort, peace, and strength as you miss her. God Bless you, Renee Buckles Roberts
