Randy E. “Red” Casey

Randy E. “Red” Casey, age 58, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Randy was born on April 30, 1960, in Washington County, Va., to the late Jake T. Casey and Mary Florence Childress Casey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie and Charlie Casey.

He was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va., and was of the Baptist faith. Randy loved flowers and enjoyed all types of music, especially listening to the radio.

Survivors include his brother, Jeffrey Casey and wife, Alisa of Saltville; sister-in-law, Susie Casey of Abingdon; niece, April Casey of Abingdon; great nephews, Dillon and Clinton; special great niece, Ava; numerous extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., prior to the service. Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Knollkreg Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m.
