Frances Louise Neal Wright, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her home.
She was born June 26, 1937, in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Jake Neal and Pearl Sweet Neal. She lived most of her life in the Offset Community of Bristol, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and worked at Gordon Garmet for 20 years. She was a talented seamstress and loved to raise beautiful flowers. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Neal and Cecil Neal; and one sister, Ann Neal.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Noah Wright of Bristol, TN; two daughters, Linda Clappse and husband Ron of Bristol, TN, and Vicky Wright Blaylock and husband Ted of Bristol, VA; one son, Albert Wright and wife Sherry of Bristol, TN; one brother, Dewey Neal and wife Wilma of Bristol, TN; three grandchildren, Julia Wright, Pamela Wright and Dr. Ashley Blaylock; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Frances’ wishes, graveside services will be conducted Friday, June 8, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery in the Alvarado Community with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers and Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Bud Wright, Marshall Wright, Johnny Perdue, Dewey Sweet, Bob Mitchell, Wayne Wright, Roy McNew, and Larry Bales. The family will receive friends at the home, 596 Government Road, Bristol, Tennessee at any time.
