Faye Marsh Harless, 74, of Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 12, 1943, in Washington County, Va., to the late George Robert “Pete” Marsh and Emma Price Marsh. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Harless.
Faye was a lifelong resident of the area having lived in the Wallace community and later in Mendota for many years. She had been an employee of Lowes in Bristol, Va., since 1996 and enjoyed working there with her friends and meeting new people. Faye loved to sew and was an avid quilter. She had won numerous awards for her beautiful work.
She was a member of North Bristol Baptist Church where she was an active member of the DMA’s.
Survivors include three children, Robert “Bobby” Harless and wife, Donna of Bristol, Va., Bradley Wayne Harless and wife, Donna of Mendota, Va., and Paula Faye Ingle and husband, Travis of Bristol, Va.; two sisters, Linda Jackson and husband, John of Bristol, Va., and Peggy Haworth and husband, Larry of Abingdon, Va.; six grandchildren, Sara, Haley, Heather, Melanie, Aaron and Shane; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her two grand dogs, Jack and Sammy.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, at North Bristol Baptist Church, 46 Church St., Bristol, Va., 24201. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Travis Ingle officiating. Interment will follow at Greendale Chapel Cemetery, Abingdon, Va.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
