Dorothy Johnson Kelly, age 96, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 23, 1922, in Dunn, NC, to the late Charles Arthur Johnson and Etta Lorena Repass Johnson. She was the widow of O.M. “Mike” Kelly who predeceased her in 1986.
Mrs. Kelly was a retired bookkeeper and a longtime member of Abingdon Baptist Church.
She is survived by three nieces, Linda C. Kiser, Anne C. Smith and Brenda J. Bordwine; and three nephews, David C. Johnson, Bill Campbell and Johnny Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Abingdon Baptist Church, 361 West Main St., Abingdon, Va., 24210, in memory of Dorothy J. Kelly.
Family and friends will gather at Knollkreg Memorial Park, Abingdon, Va., on Tuesday morning, August 28, 2018, at 10:45 a.m. for a graveside service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. William Bryan officiating.
