Denny Franklin Rowe, 72, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with Jesus on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claire Franklin Rowe and Maude Gay O’Quinn Rowe; sisters, Sue Rowe Loften, Matilda Gay Rowe and Joane Rowe Keen; and brothers, Melvin Harold Rowe and Rufus Fearl “Buck” Rowe.
Denny was a United States Army veteran and a retired brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Lester Rowe; sons, David Wayne Rowe and wife Sandra, Daniel Phillip Rowe and wife Elizabeth Ann and Richard Brian Rowe; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Frost Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held privately for immediate family with Pastor Nick Shortridge officiating. Interment will take place at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Gobble officiating.
In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, all those attending services are asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
