April Dawn Charles, age 43, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center after a very brief illness.
She was a graduate of Abingdon High School and worked in the Home Health Services for many years. She loved to ride with her fiancé, Jimmy on the back of his Harley Davidson motorcycle. April was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Shaver and both sets of grandparents, Raymond and Gladys Doss and Aubrey and Louise Shaver.
She is survived by her parents, Randy and Kathy Shaver of Abingdon, Va.; her two very special and loving children, Chandra Charles and fiancé, Christian Marshall of Bristol, Va. and Rylee Charles also of Bristol, Va.; her loving fiancé, Jimmy Mains of Blountville, Tenn., and her best friend, Lisa Mains Curtis of Piney Flats, Tenn.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel.
