Anne Campbell Smith

Abingdon, VA.

Anne Campbell Smith, 82, of Abingdon, VA., went home to be with our Lord on January 25, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Gastonia, NC.

She was born on April 28th, 1938 in Bristol, VA. Anne was a graduate of William King High School and The Technical School of Abingdon. She was employed for 18 years at Wix Filtration and retired from the Gaston County Health Department.

Anne was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to read and travel.

She was preceded in death by parents WL and Fannie Belle Johnson Campbell.

Anne is survived by her husband Keith Smith; sons Clay Odem and wife Gina; Mark Odem and wife Laura; grandsons Jonathon and Jason Odem; granddaughters Taylor and Hannah Odem; brother Bill Campbell and sister Linda Kiser and husband James. Niece and nephew Kathy and Gary Kiser.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M., on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, VA., with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating.

A special thank you to the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living for the wonderful care they gave to Anne.
