William Ray Guinn, age 62, passed away on March 16, 2026.

Born on February 17, 1964, he was the son of the late James and Helen Guinn. William was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved farming and gardening, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Guinn.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Anna Guinn; his two children, Billy Joe Guinn and Jessica Lee Hurd; and his seven grandchildren, Kailey Phillips, Allie Hurd, Brayden Guinn, Elania Guinn, Ryleigh Guinn, Katlyn Kiser, and Savannah Tankersley. He is also survived by his sister, Darlene Guinn, and his brother, Bobby Guinn.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Hearl officiating. Interment will follow in procession at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wakefield, Frank Wakefield, John Guinn, Dusty Price, Joe Guinn, and Josh Tankersley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ivan Caudill, Roger Logan, and Elmer Tankersley.

William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
