Whitney Brooke Phillips, 49, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 11, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 1, 1973 in Lexington, Kentucky to Ronald Lee and Sallie Gail Norris Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sallie Phillips; and brother-in-law, Randy Dixon.

Survivors include her father, Ronald "Ron" Phillips; sister, Joy Phillips Dixon; nephew, Tyler Christian Dixon and wife McKenzie; also, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Holston Conference Cemetery in Emory, VA with Pastor Steven Bednar officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 A.M.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 .

The family would also like to say a special thank you for all the wonderful people at Ballad of Abingdon and her special care-giver Joanna Shelton.
