Wesley James Hilt, 24, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home in Roanoke, VA.

Wesley was born March 26, 1998, in Abingdon, VA to Kurt and Melissa Hilt. He was a 2016 graduate of Abingdon High School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with an advanced studies diploma. He was also a 2020 graduate from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with a BS in Microbiology. He was currently employed with Sevita Health in Salem, VA. Wesley enjoyed online gaming with his friends, drawing with charcoal, reading, cooking, playing board games with his sisters, leading D & D campaigns, and he was a huge history buff.

He is proceeded in death by his grandfathers, James Wayne Breeding and Charles Wesley Hilt.

Wesley is survived by his parents, Kurt and Melissa; three sisters, Natasha, Josephine, and Kassidy; one brother, Denton and wife Bethaney; three nephews, Brody, Reece, and Finn; his grandmothers, Jean Breeding and Judy Hilt; his best friend, who he loved dearly, Kathleen Quigley; and several special friends from high school and college.

The family will have a casual gathering of friends and family to celebrate Wesley's life on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Virginia Highlands Higher Education Center 1 Partnership Circle, Abingdon, VA 24210, room 103 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Drop by anytime and stay as long as you want.
