Timothy "Tim" Ray Holley, 55, of Chilhowie, Va., passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Tim was born on September 19, 1966, in Smyth County, Va., to the late George Raymond Holley and Reva Adams Holley. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver and Lottie Holley and Melvin and Reta Adams; a special nephew, Ryan Hicks and several aunts and uncles.

Tim was a member of Chilhowie Christian Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors include two daughters, Emily Renae Holley and Madison Michaela-Dawn Schmidt; one sister, Reva June Presley; aunts and uncles, Margaret and Thomas Hayden, Ronnie and Linda Adams, Elsie Cruey, Dot Briggs, Gene and Elsie Holley and Tom Holley; special nephews, Mitchell Bise and Cody Bise and several cousins. He is also survived by his companion, Belinda Hayes.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2022, at Chilhowie Christian Church. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., with Frank Branson and Elder James Hayden officiating. Interment in Mount Rose Cemetery will be private.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne South, Eugene Holley, Tony Briggs, Scott Adams, Dennis Adams and John Hayden.
