Teresa Marie Edwards, 74, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1951, to the late Howard and Billie Little.

Teresa had a gentle and loving spirit. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and found comfort and strength in her faith. She also loved collecting holiday Barbies, a hobby that brought her joy throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Jason Cannon, and her husband, Larry Edwards.

She is survived by her son, Chris Mitchell and wife Yaquelin; her stepdaughter, Amy Edwards and husband James; her sister, Kathy Davis of Kingsport, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brad Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, and Brianna; and two great-granddaughters, Haylen and Aubreigh.

Teresa will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to her family, and warm heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
