Teresa Yarboro Burnett, 67, passed away in Bristol, Virginia on June 27, 2023.

She was born in Troy, North Carolina on June 29, 1955.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Burnette; father, Theadore Yarboro; mother, Elizabeth Jackson Kern; stepfather, Timothy Kern, Jr., and numerous others.

She is survived by adopted daughter Kristina Gray (Aaron); sisters Darlene Chappell (Chris), Kimothy Epley (Berry), Tina Dunn; brothers Paul Yarboro (Lu), Theadore Yarboro, and Timothy Kern III (Cindy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She doted on her adopted grandchildren, Aaron, Jr., Dean, Frankie, and Benny, whenever she could. She was a mother to everyone, loving, kind, and patient. She was a godmother, a loving wife, and a kind sister. She was a bright light in any room, and she will be missed dearly.
