Steven John Widener, 59, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Waters in Bristol.

He was born February 27, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late John and Barbara Widener. He enjoyed music and Westerns. He was especially fond of the outdoors, including fishing and camping. Above all, he adored his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann Davis Widener.

Steven is survived by three children, Johnathon (Jennifer) Widener, Shana (fiancé Chris Adkins) Widener, and Haili (Bobby) Miller; one brother, David Widener; thirteen grandchildren, Mason Jessee, Alizabeth Widener, Gabriel Widener, Kaylie Adkins, Kiera Adkins, Destiny Adkins, Briley LaRue, Brody LaRue, Brayden LaRue, Bellah Miller, Steven Miller, Kaleb Miller, and Sammy Miller; many nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at High Point Baptist Church, 18255 Limestone Drive, Meadowview, Virginia, 24361.
