Steve Anthony Ammons, 61, passed away on August 18, 2026. He was born on October 17, 1964, to the late William and Cecillia Ammons.

Steve was a strong Christian man whose faith was an important part of his life. He loved riding his motorcycle and cherished his animals. He was a kind and giving person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Steve specially made it his mission to make his significant other, Ruby Taylor, feel loved and cared for.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole, and his stepfather, Jim Mullins.

He is survived by his significant other, Ruby Taylor; his son, Steve Cody Ammons; his brother, James Lamar Ammons; his sister, Stephanie Nichols; his grandson, Chase Brogdon; his niece, Whitney Wilkerson; and his nephew, Will Wilkerson.

Steve will be remembered for his generous heart, strong faith, love for his family and animals, and the love he so freely gave to those around him.

No formal services will be held at this time.
