Shirley Jean Watson Henegar, age 77, passed away on August 17, 2023 at her residence in Meadowview, Virginia surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born on July 21, 1946 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Robert and Pauline Watson. Shirley loved to cook and spend time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Watson and Terry Watson.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bobby R. Henegar; son, David Allen Henegar (LeAlyson), sisters, Carolyn Hand, Sandy Wolfe, Nancy Watson (Steve), Rita Sexton (Roger), Brenda Watson and Dot Patrick; brothers, Ralph Watson (Janie), David Watson (Donna) and Mitchell Watson; Sister-in-laws, Peggy Bailey (Eddie), Patsy Henegar, Brenda Henegar and Dottie Watson; also, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Minister Ron Musick officiating. A committal service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Damascus, VA.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Watson, Dale Carter, Eddie Bailey, Jason Mondrage, Jerry Coleman and Bob Steele.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ralph Watson, Gabe Johnson, Kyle Cullop, Austin Cruey, and J.D. Henegar.
