Shirley Anne Church Ferrell, 80, went to be with the Lord, and her family, and friends that have gone before her, on September 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 31, 1945 to the late Elmer and Verna Smith Church in Grundy, VA. She loved to cook for her family and friends and loved to decorate her home. Her grandson, Drew, was the light of her life. Above all she loved Jesus and being in church, singing and praising the Lord, being a true soul winner. She was a member of Word Evangelistic Outreach Church in Wolford, VA.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by, one brother; Jerry Church.

Survivors include, her loving husband of 61 years, Teddy Ferrell; daughter, Krista Ferrell Sturgill (Garrett); special grandson, Drew Ferrell Sturgill, several sisters, nieces and nephews.

A private entombment service will be held for the family per Mrs. Ferrell request.
