Sherman Nelson Warren, 84, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His battle ended August 30, 2023.

Sherman was born March 6, 1939, in Greendale, VA. Mr. Warren was a great father to his family. Mr. Warren lived a long and happy life.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Inez Warren, parents, Burtis Warren and Sarah Tolliver Warren; and Tony Raines.

Survivors include, Michael and Burtis Warren, Tammy Raines, Patricia Dotson, Nelson (Wayne) Warren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 01, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 02, 2023 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with pastor Eddie Gobble and Pastor Gary Damron officiating.

Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Ammos (Bubba), Timmy Doss, Ray Bowman, Rick Harless, and John Warren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rosebud Emory Rose and Junior Arnell.

The family would like to also send a special thank you to Michelle with hospice.
