Ruth Roark Singleton, age 92, passed away April 11, 2024, at her home.

Ruth was born on December 10, 1931, to the late Akards Henry Roark and Myrtle Haga Roark.

Ruth was the m atriarch of her family; she was known to be a skilled seamstress, an amazing cook, and could put a feast on the table in 30 minutes notice; she was always sure to set an extra plate. Ruth loved reading and enjoyed going on road trips.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Singleton as well as numerous siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her six children, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; with one on the way, and one sister.

Services will be private.

Acting as pallbearers will be grandsons of Ms. Singleton.
