Obituary

Ruth Ann Owens, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 25th, leaving behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Ruth Ann was a special woman whose love for her family was one of the greatest gifts she gave. Her presence brought comfort, her love brought people together, and the memories she created will continue to live on through the generations of her family. She will be remembered for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the lasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.

Though her passing leaves a tremendous emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will remain a source of comfort and strength. The lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the moments shared with her will never be forgotten.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Junior Owens; her sons, Larkin Owens and Mike Owens; her parents, Clarance and Mildred Williams; her sisters, Betty Davis, Doris Williams, and Mary Ellen Williams; and her brothers, Jimmy Williams and Roger Williams. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with those she loved and missed so dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Holly Owens; her grandsons, Ben Owens and his wife, Victoria Owens, and Cory Owens; and her granddaughters, Chloe Owens and her fiancé, Andy Wright; Jessi Owens; Katie Owens and her fiancé, Johnathan Wilson; and Lexie Crawford and her husband, Chandler Crawford.

She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Church and Sue Casey; her beloved great-grandchildren, Brynlee Crawford, Declan Wright, Haylee Owens, Kiley Wilson, and Layla Wilson; Ivy Grace, her four legged best friend. Special friend Misty Hill and Sarah Strock, and many special nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories and love they shared with her.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Mock Cemetery in Damascus, Virginia with Minister Walt Staude officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.

Ruth Ann's greatest legacy is the family she leaves behind and the love that will continue to carry her memory forward. Though she may be gone from this earth, she will never be gone from the hearts of those who love her. The memories she created, the love she shared, and the family she cherished will remain a lasting tribute to the life she lived.

We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband and sons. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
