Ruby Jean McReynolds Fields, 89, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Abingdon Health and Rehab.

She was born June 30, 1934, to the late Harry and Priscilla Dotson McReynolds.   Ruby loved to do word puzzles and worked in the shoe department at Roses for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carey Fields, three brothers, and two sisters.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Angela Fields and a sister, Mary Taylor.   She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
