Mrs. Rose Marie Inscore Johnson, 61, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at her home in Abingdon.

Rose Marie was born July 17, 1961 to the late John and Peggy Dalton Inscore. She loved heavy metal and rock music, cooking, dancing, and elephants. When asked how she wanted to be remembered, she said, "As someone who had fun and loved her family unconditionally."

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mark "Dooley" Johnson.

Rose Marie is survived by one son, John (Bethany) Johnson; two daughters, Tasha (Tony Gobble) Johnson; Shanna (Jonathan) Goodpasture; three brothers, Mike Inscore, Mark (B.J.) Inscore, Daniel (Holly) Inscore; six grandchildren, Brittany Gobble, Zayla Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson, Kendra Taylor, Bryce Goodpasture, and Zach Goodpasture; one great-grandchild, Ryder Taylor; special friends, Joe Cress and Tom Crise.

The family would like to thank Gabbie, Carrie, and MSA Hospice for all their loving care during their mother's illness.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Tasha Johnson, 30237 Old Saltworks Road, Meadowview, Virginia, 24361.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
