Rosa Geraldine Minnick, age 78, passed away on Sunday September 1, 2024, at Dominion Senior Living in Bristol, Tn.

Mrs. Minnick was born on March 2, 1946, in Abingdon, Va to the late Howard and Myrtle Casey Duncan and raised by her "mom and dad" Judge Hutton Taylor and Cora Duncan Taylor.

She was a faithful member of the Abingdon Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Above all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Don Minnick Sr, two brothers, Walter Duncan, and Gene Duncan: one sister, Norene Henry.

She is survived by one son, Don Minnick Jr (Pam); Three Grandchildren, Kelsee Rawson (Brayden), Laken Minnick, and Dalton Minnick; one great grandchild, Sutton Rawson; two sisters, Frances Lee, and Betty Wolfe; one brother, Howard Duncan.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M on Saturday September 7, 2024, at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Va. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 A.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don Minnick Jr, Blake Lunsford, Jimmy Cook, Dalton Minnick, Chuck Lunsford, and Derick Cosgrove.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Abingdon Church of Christ, 19508 Dennison Dr., Abingdon, VA. 24211.
