"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"

Rosa Balthazrr, 87, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, William Martin and Birtie Ruth Lowe; her husband, Kenneth Balthazrr; one son, James "Gib" Balthazrr; and one grandson, Jeffery Osborne.

She was survived by her sister, Bessie Snead; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Balthazrr (Sharon) and Howard Balthazrr (Danielle); two daughters, Joyce Osborne and Sue Thompson (Don); nine grandchildren, Crystal Osborne, Debbie Osborne, Michael Balthazrr, Casey Pickreign, Jennifer Sullivan, Bonnie Copley, Donnie Thompson, Sharon Thompson, and Tabitha Stevens; numerous great and great great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Frost Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Michael Booker officiating. Committal service will follow in procession at Mountain View United Methodist Cemetery in Abingdon, Virginia.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Our mother was loved by many and will be missed by all.
