Roberta Elaine Ellison Walton, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her home in Meadowview with her loving son and daughter-in-law by her side.

She was born December 2, 1949, in Maine to the late Charlie Floyd and Regina Leah Moody Ellison.

Roberta loved her flowers and gardening. Roberta was strong-willed and lived life on her own terms.

She will be sorely missed, but always remembered for her kind, caring, and nurturing nature.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Walton; twin brother, Ronnie Ellison; sisters, Linda Pierce, Juanita Surber, and Mary Jane "Mickey" Barker.

Roberta is survived by her son, Christopher P. (Sandra) Walton; two stepsons, Joseph Walton and Christopher S. Walton; sister, Cindy (Junior) Kingsley; special friends, Betty Litton, Dr. Mark and Dr. Connie Simcox and family, and Dr. Paul and Becky Armstrong and family. Roberta is also survived by two nieces, several nephews, and many friends and neighbors.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michael Murray, N.P. and Dr. Haythem Adada for all their loving care during Roberta's illness.

The family intends to hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
