Mr. Robert Lacy "Bobby" Sweet, 79, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Valley Health and Rehab Center in Chilhowie, Virginia.

Bobby was born March 23, 1943 in Abingdon, Virginia and remained a life-long resident.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Sweet; an infant son and daughter; his father, Lacy Sweet; and one brother, Delmas Sweet.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Mary Warner; two brothers, Willis Sweet and Jackie Sweet; three sisters, Edna Olinger, Marie Rowe, and Carol Rowe; one brother-in-law, Larry Musick; one sister-in-law, Teresa; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 11:00 A.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, Virginia with Brother Herbert Bailey officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
