Rhonda Farley Widener, 51, of Abingdon, VA. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

She was born and raised in Abingdon, VA. and worked in retail until later in years, became disabled because of diabetes.

She always had a smile on her face and a caring heart. The joy of her life was her granddaughter, Kiley Wilson.

She is survived by husband, Steven Widener; father and step-mother, Jerry and Dora Farley; mother and step-father, Linda and Eddie Duke; grandmother, Hester Helton; daughter, Amanda Able; granddaughters, Kiley Wilson and Layla Wilson; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She will be missed by many family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
