Peggy Jane Grayson, 79, passed away on April 1, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1946, to the late Abb and Netty Childress.

Peggy was a devoted housewife and mother who loved nothing more than her family and her cats. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to those she loved, and the comfort she brought to her home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving son, Tim Grayson; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Tiger and Tiny.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia, with Pastor Sam Haynes officiating.
