Patricia "Chris" Fleenor, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mabel Fields; and her brothers Dennis Fields Sr and Steve Fields.

Chris had a distinguished 32-year career as a microbiologist with the state of Virginia, dedicating her life to the field and contributing greatly to her community.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis B. Fleenor; her two sons, Curtis S. Fleenor and Nolan (Amy) Fleenor; one grandchild, Brian (Cheyenne) Fleenor; and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Natalie, and Callum Fleenor.

She is also survived by her sister, Jerri (Alan) Mitchell, along with several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Chris' wishes, all services will be held privately.
