Obituary

Nannie Bell Arnold of Abingdon, Va went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 6, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Arnold was born to the late Elmer Widener and Susie Blevins Widener. She was a member of the Denton Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son Jerry. Her brothers, Jake, Waymon, Richard, Joe, and Howard. Her sisters, Stella, Frances, and Melvina.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years Dewayne Arnold; two daughters, Esther (Danny) Rasnake, Susan (Darrell) Testerman; one son Steve (Terry) Arnold; one brother, Harry Widener She is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily (Tanner) Taylor, Josh (Katelyn) Arnold, Derek (Bobbie) Testerman, and Tiffani (Wyatt) Rasnake; ten great-grandchildren, Allie, Ellie, Reagan, William, Erin, Avery, Alex, Rylie, Logan, and Luke. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Rasnake, Darrell Testerman, Tanner Taylor, Josh Arnold, Derek Testerman, and Tommy Poff, and Wyatt Rasnake.
