Michael Lee Davenport, 59, Bristol, Virginia. Son of the late Henry Lee Davenport Jr. and Lois Browning passed away October 31, 2024, at his residence.

He served 14 years in the Army Reserve and National Guard, attaining the rank of lieutenant. He was a history buff and loved antiques, working for some time as an appraiser and seller. His creative pursuits included crafts and writing short stories.

Also, preceded in death by his sister Wendy Ruth Browning, and his son Nicholas Peter Elijah Davenport.

He is survived by his sons, Cotton and Jonathan Davenport, and their sister Natasia Gregory; brother, Jeff Davenport; sister, Starlette Kelly; as well as his grandchildren, Lincoln Davenport and George Gregory. He was very proud of all his children and he will be remembered fondly for his off-the-wall sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Frost Funeral Home.
