Melissa Jean Asher, 63, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Choice Healthcare in Abingdon, Virginia.

Melissa was known for her creativity and loved anything involving crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elliot and Geneieve Kestner and one sister, Donna Foster.

She is survived by two children, Jason Blevins and Ginny Blevins; two grandchildren, Austin and Nevaeh; a special aunt, Naomi Barrett; two stepsisters also survive.

All services will be private.
