McKinley "Ken" Stacy, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Ken was born on December 29, 1937 to the late Ingram and Vicey Stacy.

Mr. Stacy loved being in the outdoors with his son while making memories hunting and fishing. He enjoyed tending his garden and adored his granddaughter and great-granddaughter. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by, three brothers, Denson Stacy, Burl Stacy, and Bascom Stacy.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Shelvia Stacy; son, Rick Stacy (Dora McMurray); four brothers, Larry Stacy, Leonard Stacy, Garland Stacy, and Virgil Stacy; sister, Linda Keen; granddaughter, Rebekah Cheyenne Stacy; great-granddaughter, Brayleigh Stacy; also, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. following visitation with Pastor Kevin Rogers officiating. Committal service will be will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
