Mary Carol Boyd, 76, of Meadowview, Virginia passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026. Born on July 22, 1950, in Buchanan County, Virginia Mary lived a life marked by love, compassion, and a big heart that touched all who knew her.

Mary attended Robert’s Chapel Church where her faith and kindness were evident to all who worshipped alongside her.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jacky Boyd. Their bond was a cornerstone of her life, and she carried his memory with her always. Mary was also preceded in death by her father, David Deel, mother, Pricey Deel, daughter, Linda Boyd, one sister, and one brother.

She is survived by her loving family, including her brothers Tony Deel and Thomas Deel; her daughters Margo Frye (Jerry) , and Teena Blevins (Blair); grandchildren, Randall Boyd (Daisy), Janie Frye (James), Jerry Frye, Alexa Thompson, Zachary Frye, Michael Lethcoe, and Gabriel Lethcoe, great grandchildren Clayton Boyd, Iris Hess, and River Ezzell, three step-grandchildren, and six great step grandchildren. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her greatly.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating. Committal service will follow going in procession to Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Randall Boyd, Kevin Hamm, James Lowe, Jacob Deel, Cole Reynolds, and Ryan Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Frye II, Cameron Morrison, and Curtis Morrison.

A special thank you to Kevin Hamm, Debbie Morrison, and Jean Rickman for being such a big part of her life.

Mary cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in their company. Mary’s legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who knew her.
