Margaret Gertrude Cook, 32, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Galveston, Texas.

Margaret was born Aprill 11, 1991, to Mary Cook and the late John Turner Cook, III.   Margaret loved life, loved others, and was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her father, Margaret is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ray Allison and John Turner Cook, Jr. and her uncle, Greg Cook.

Margaret is survived by her loving mother, Mary Cook; her son, whom she adored, Axl Leija; paternal grandmother, Eileen Allison; aunt, Kim Paige and husband Terry; her fiancé, Joe Leija. Margaret is also survived by many friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 26, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon.   A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Brother Virgil Musick officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
