Lydia Faith Mitchell, 33, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was born on September 17, 1992, to Thomas and Shaunda Roche.

Lydia had a heart for others and lived her life with compassion. She loved rescuing animals and spending time with her family, and she had a true gift for making people feel seen, loved, and supported. She was known for reaching out to those in need and finding joy in helping others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Mitchell; her daughter, Madelynn; her grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Carol Roche; her maternal grandfather, Joseph Pagano; and her niece, Layanna.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Thomas and Shaunda Roche; siblings, Josiah Roche and wife Anne and their children Sage, Stella, and EllieMae; Cherith Adelman and husband Joe and their children Joseph, Bryleigh, and Jack; Bethany Roche and her children Aidan and Layla; Anna Johnson and husband William and their children Emmett and Eric; Micaiah Roche and wife Kursta and their children Spencer and Beckem; Julia Roche; and Rebekah Brown and her son Dawson. She is also survived by her beloved Memaw, Patricia Pagano, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who loved her dearly.

Lydia will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the love she poured into everyone she met.
