Lottie Faye Childers Sheffield, 88, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

Lottie was born August 13, 1935, in Washington County, Viriginia to the late Abb and Nettie Minnick Childers. She loved to travel the country and was happiest on the go.

In addition to her parents, Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Sheffield; two sons, Gary and Glenn Long; three daughters, Tina Norris, Trish Johnson, and Janice Robins.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Hagy and husband Dave and Lisa Castle and husband Tommy. Lottie is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 18, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Don Turnmire officiating. Those planning to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 P.M.
