Linda Darnell Pilgrim Chapman of Bristol, Virginia, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was the daughter of the late William Lee Pilgrim and Christina Buntyn Pilgrim.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy F. Chapman Sr; one son Aubrey Dee Chapman; grandson Shawn F. Chapman; and brothers, Kenneth Pilgrim and Charlie Pilgrim.

She is survived by sons Kevin L. Chapman and wife Jana, Billy F. Chapman, Jr; daughter Carla Chapman Ingram; grandchildren Georgia L. Chapman, Charles R. Chapman, Audrey L. Chapman, Steven R. Chapman, Calvin Chapman, Doug Chapman (Brooke), Kylie Morfield, and Kyle Ingram; and brother Jerry Pilgrim.

She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many cousins.
