Larry Junior Clawson, 73, passed away September 11, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Clawson was born July 18, 1950 to the late J.D. Clawson and Ella Litton Clawson. He loved to listen to music especially playing the guitar and piano. He enjoyed working word searches, watching westerns and wrestling. Above all he was a friend to all.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by, three sisters, Nellie Warren, Wanda Wise, and Daisy Gobble.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Tresia Clawson; one son, Michael Clawson; four step children, Tina Kell, Rebecca Shelton (Michael), Amy Evans, and Billy Jackson, Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Gobble and Linda Wise (Dave); 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Chilhowie Home and Hospice for their love and support.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Greendale Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Maurer officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
