Junior "June" Burton Yarber, age 94, went peacefully to be with the Lord at Bristol Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol, Virginia on July 2nd, 2025.

He lived in Glade Spring, VA in (Yarbertown) most of his life and was self-employed. He loved football and was knowledgeable about every team. He was soft spoken and always had a smile. He loved watching TV, especially westerns, and had a real love for all animals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Burton Yarber and Mae Waters Yarber, his wife of 59 years, Alta Testerman Yarber, and two sisters, Parlee Heath and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include his two daughters, Angelia Marchant of Abingdon, Va. Ella Ratcliffe-Sutherland and husband Ernie, of Abingdon, Va.; one sister, Goldie Salyer of Abingdon, VA., two grandchildren, Matthew Ratcliffe and wife Heather, of Abingdon, Va., and Nathan Marchant of Idaho Falls, Idaho and fiancée, KyLeigh Smith, two great-grandchildren, Aurora Ratcliffe of Abingdon, VA., and Markus Marchant of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Also, several nieces and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at 11:00am, at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia with Pastor Tim Norris officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joe Yarber, Riley Yarber, Cecil Yarber, Matthew Ratcliffe, Ernie Sutherland and Fred Sutherland.

The family will receive friends at the graveside service.
